Should sterilization of female dogs be prioritized over the male dogs or any other factors to consider(details inside)?

It is a faster, easier, cheaper option to neuter males and they are ‘back to normal’ within 24hours , with unneutered males testosterone will cause male dogs to fight for females 24/7 365 days a year and to establish dog  ‘pack order’ and chaos in any home that doesn’t have separate secure kenneling facilities especially if you have both genders.

Fact is females being neutered stops puppies being created. It is a longer, more invasive operation and although dogs get on with life fairly normally after such an operation because it is more invasive females need to be kept secure/clean for 7-10 days to stop secondary infections

Money/cost is generally the only thing that limits but it is  very igorant and short sighted of the Indian Government if they think stray street dogs stay in the same area if unneutered they will travel to other areas miles away to breed…so neutering some, allowing them all to continue to stray will not stop over population of stray street dogs
